1935-1940 Ford Chassis

Because your chassis is the backbone of your street rod, LRS prides itself in fabricating one of the finest quality street rod frames in the industry.  Our frames are uniquely fabricated from flat 11 gauge P&O steel plate.  This allows us to weld the body mounting nuts inside the frame rails instead of using nut zerks that others use.  We have our pieces laser cut so we are ensured of getting the same piece each time.  We then fit the pieces on our rail jigs, square them and weld.  All welds are then ground and inspected to verify that they have complete penetration and no porosity.  They are then sanded with 50 grit to prep it for finishing.  The rails are placed into our rotisserie frame fixture and tack welded to the fixture to eliminate movement while the frame is constructed and T.I.G. welded.  Sounds like a lot of work?  Yes, it is, but this is the way we choose to build your quality chassis.  From start to finish, it takes 6 to 7 days to complete, depending on the number of coffee and smoke breaks we take!  Many options are available for your completed chassis.  Below are just a few ways to order; however, please feel free to call us with any other ideas you may have.  We look forward to doing business with you.  Please note that our completed chassis prices include many options that other shops do not.
